Law Enforcement Torch Run 2016

Torch Run2-2015

Join Midland PD for Good Fun and a Great Cause on September 15, 2016

Midland Police Department invites the community to join together for a great cause at the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the single largest grassroots fundraising effort for Special Olympics International. Michigan’s Law Enforcement Torch Run program raises funds for over 23,000 athletes who participate in Special Olympics Michigan.

Registration is just $25.00 per entrant and includes a dri-fit t-shirt. Midland's LETR team has led the state of Michigan in fundraising and event participation for the last 3 years. Let's make 2016 the 4th year in a row!

Event Information

The event features a 3.5-mile run or a 2-mile walk that begins at the Midland Law Enforcement Center and ends at Dow Diamond with a flame-lighting ceremony. Both routes are not a timed "race" - it's a chance to be active in your community and enjoy a fun night for a great cause!
