Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Char Williams.

Members Present: Williams, Laforet, Rockwell, Swain

Members Absent: None

Staff Present: McGuire, Yuergens

Program Update

Yuergens presented information on:

· Ridership numbers for fiscal 04/05

· New driver training program

· Bus replacement program

Meeting Schedule

The next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 29, 2005 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Service Center.

Consumer Issues

LaForet wanted to pursue the feasibility of a fixed route system. This will be investigated and reported on at the November meeting.

Williams requested information on the “bus passes” that are used by employees of the Arnold Center.

LaForet asked if bus fares would be increasing. McGuire explained that bus fare revenue is only 8% of our annual budget. To increase bus fare could potentially cause a hardship on passengers with minimal impact on our overall budget.
