West Main Street Historic District Commission

This commission is responsible for the development and administration of
guidelines on which all work within the West Main Street Historic District
will be reviewed and determined.
The West Main Street Historic District Commission shall
consist of seven members appointed by the Midland City Council. Two members shall be
appointed from a list of citizens submitted by one or more duly organized local historic
preservation organizations and one member, if available, shall be a graduate of an
accredited school of architecture who has two years of architectural experience or who is
an architect duly registered in this state. The chief building official or his/her
designated representative shall be an ex officio member without the right to vote.
