CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:
All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be
enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a
Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the "Motion to
adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated". If there is even a single request the item
will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its
listed sequence in regular fashion.

5. Request from Industrial Controls, Inc. for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate within the Eastwick Industrial Park Industrial Development District relating to a new facility. This project is for the purpose of providing electrical design services for industrial applications. (Also see material sent in June 21 agenda packet.) ELBERS
6. Request from Mason-Loomis Industrial Electric, Inc. for Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate within the Eastwick Industrial Park Industrial Development District
relating to a new facility. This project is for the purpose of assembly and wiring of

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:
7. First reading of an amendment to the West Main Street Historic District Ordinance
that will permit City Council to appoint an ex officio member to the Historic District
Commission, such ex officio member being a non-resident who is a qualified architect. HALM

8. Referring request to vacate Eastman Avenue from the corner of Ripley and Ellsworth
Streets to the corner of Larkin and Jerome Streets for review and recommendation. (Item
was on June 21 agenda; action postponed.) OSTGARDEN
* 9. Authorizing specific employees of the City of Midland to represent the City in the
small claims division of the district court. HALM
* 10. Approving the 1999 contract with the Bureau of Aeronautics for the replacement of
the fuel system at Barstow Airport. MCMANUS
* 11. Approving Site Plan No. 181 - a 6,000 square foot addition at 3000 James Savage
