7. First reading of an amendment to the West Main Street Historic District Ordinance that will permit City Council to appoint an ex officio member to the Historic District Commission, such ex officio member being a non-resident who is a qualified architect. HALM

8. Referring request to vacate Eastman Avenue from the corner of Ripley and Ellsworth Streets to the corner of Larkin and Jerome Streets for review and recommendation. (Item was on June 21 agenda; action postponed.) OSTGARDEN

* 9. Authorizing specific employees of the City of Midland to represent the City in the small claims division of the district court. HALM
