All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”. If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

RESOLUTIONS:

2. Approving Site Plan No. 197 – the redevelopment of Eastlawn Center LC, at Eastlawn Drive and S. Saginaw Road, which will eliminate 15,000 sq. ft. of existing retail space and add 14,490 sq. ft. of retail space in the form of a freestanding Walgreen Pharmacy. LYNCH

3. Approving Site Plan No. 198 – Whisper Ridge East, a residential site condominium development of 16 building sites on 4.9 acres north of N. Saginaw Road and east of Russell Street. LYNCH

4. Giving Tentative Approval to the Preliminary Plat of Bogel’s Urban Subdivision No. 2, a residential subdivision of 23 lots on 11.47 acres north of Airport Road and west of Perrine Road. LYNCH

5. Approving request from Local 12075 of the United Steelworkers of America to place shelters, portable restrooms and heaters on the public right of way. ST. LOUIS

* 6. Approving annexation of property on the east side of Dublin Road north of Airport Road from Larkin Township. LYNCH

* 7. Adopting amendments to the Hazard Mitigation Plan. LYNCH

* 8. Approving Change Orders #003 – 007 to the City’s contract with MJC Golf. MCGUIRE

9. Directing staff to implement a plan regarding non-ice shows at the Midland Civic Arena. MCGUIRE

* 10. Expressing City Council support for the Midland County Road Commission project to provide for a north-south route over the Tittabawassee River west of Midland that will connect Meridian Road with M-30. DUSO

11. Considering purchases and contracts:

* a. Administrative Cars, Police Cruisers and Light Duty Vehicles. MCGUIRE

* b. Niton XL-309 Dual Detector Spectrum Analyzer. LYNCH

12. Setting public hearings:

* a. Zoning Petition No. 471 – to rezone property on Lee Street (north of East Patrick Road, east of Clay Street, and west of the US-10 Expressway) from Residential A-3 to Residential A-4 (2/19). LYNCH

* b. Zoning Petition No. 472 – to rezone property on the west side of Waldo Avenue south of Bay City Road from Residential A-4 to Business B-2 (2/19). LYNCH

* c. Planned Unit Development No. 13 – a residential development of 128 units on 13.54 acres on the south side of Joseph Drive east of Jefferson Avenue, to be known as the Village at Joseph’s Run (2/19). LYNCH

* d. Expansion of the Downtown Development Authority District Boundary (3/5). LYNCH

13. City Council’s report on the job performance review and resolution adjusting the annual compensation for: BLACK
