All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”. If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:
5. First reading of an ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances by adding a new article that would establish an advisory body to the City Council to be known as the Library Board. (First reading was postponed at March 5 Council meeting.) BARNARD
6. First reading of an ordinance establishing the City of Midland Parking Meter Rates Ordinance. KOVACEVICH
7. First reading of an ordinance amending Section 20-56 of Article III of Chapter 20 of the Midland Code of Ordinances pertaining to advance payment districts. DUSO
8. First reading of an amendment to the ordinance preamble in Ordinance Number 1485, adoption of the Uniform Traffic Code and its amendments. BRANSON
9. Second reading and adoption of
ordinances amending fees for recreation programs: MCGUIRE
a. Section 21-70 of Division 1 of Article II of Chapter 21 – Civic Arena fees.
b. Section 21-71 of Division 2 of Article II of Chapter 21 – Golf Course fees.
RESOLUTIONS:
* 10. Directing
the City Manager to prepare a preliminary report for a special assessment
district under the Shopping Area Redevelopment Act in the Shopping Area
Redevelopment District (Downtown). LYNCH
11. Approving
Site Plan No. 201 for Granite Club Acres, a residential development of 11
townhouses on .92 acres at the north end of Gerald Court extended. LYNCH
* 12. Approving
annexation of property on the east side of Dublin Road north of Airport Road
from Larkin Township. LYNCH
13. Receiving and filing the City Manager’s and Police Department’s Reports on the Annual Review of Class C, D and Resort Liquor Licenses. DUSO
* 14. Directing the City Attorney to prepare the appropriate ordinance amendments to create a single Construction Board of Appeals and to repeal those ordinances that created the boards of appeals that will be replaced by the single board. LYNCH
15. Considering purchases and contracts:

* b. Water Main Fittings – Water Distribution. BUSH
