            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

            8.            Adopting the 2001-02 City of Midland Budget, establishing the millage rate, authorizing imposition of a tax administration fee, authorizing the imposition of a late penalty collection fee during the City’s 2001 fiscal year, and restricting the use of property tax revenues resulting from the tax appeal contingency levy.  FISHER

 

            9.            Approving an amendment to the Park Rules.  MCGUIRE

 

           10.            Approving annexation of property on Eastman Road, Commerce Drive and Commerce Court, from Larkin Township, through the joint resolution process.  LYNCH

 

           11.            Receiving and filing the 2000 Annual Water Quality Report.  BUSH

 

*         12.            Considering request to conduct the 2001 Senior Olympics Triathlon on August 8.  DUSO

 

           13.            Considering purchases and contracts:

          14.            Setting public hearings:

*                      a.            Request from Dow Corning Corporation for an industrial facilities exemption certificate within the Dow Corning Corporation Industrial Development District relating to new machinery and equipment and land and building improvements.  The facility is intended to expand capacity for the production of silicone copolymers (6/25).  ELBERS

*                      b.            Amend certain 2000-01 City Budgets and financial working plans to adjust the revenues and expenditures for 2000-01 to reflect the projected actual spending submitted during the annual budget process (6/11).   FISHER
