            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

            8.            Second reading and adoption of an amendment to Chapter 22, Article II, of the Code of Ordinances, to add a new “Division I.  In General,” and a new “Division 2, Downtown Streetscape,” Section 22-33, “Downtown Development Authority District Public Sidewalk Use Policy.”  LYNCH

 

            9.            First reading of an ordinance to amend Chapter 5 – Buildings and Building Regulations, Chapter 7 – Electrical Code, and Chapter 18 – Plumbing Code of the City of Midland Code of Ordinances to implement the Michigan Construction Code and to consolidate references to building regulations.  LYNCH

 

          10.            First reading of an amendment to the City of Midland Water Ordinance.  BUSH

 

          11.            First reading of an amendment to the City of Midland Sewer Ordinance.  BUSH

 

RESOLUTIONS:     

          12.            Approving Site Plan No. 206, a 3,590 square foot convenience store/gas station/car wash at 4816 Bay City Road (the southwest corner of Bay City Road and Rockwell Drive).  LYNCH

 

*        13.            Accepting a Warranty Deed from Chemical Bank and Trust Company acting as trustee for Donald B. and Janet C. Carlsen for the widening of Joe Mann Boulevard at the southwest corner of Jefferson Avenue.  MCMANUS

 

*        14.            Designating delegates to the Michigan Municipal League annual business meeting.  TOMION

 

*        15.            Amending the spread on the July 2001 Tax Roll of certain Special Assessments.  KEENAN
