All
resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be
enacted by one motion. There will be no
separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so
requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda
as indicated”. If there is even a
single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further
motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

2. Recognition of 50th

3. Amendment to the City of Midland’s
2001-02 budgets and financial working plans to recognize a decrease in the
estimated amount of revenue from investment earnings. (Also see material sent in January 14 agenda packet.) FISHER

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:
4. Second reading and adoption of an
ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Article XIII, of the City Code of Ordinances to
provide a Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) for Chippewassee Court Phase I, a
proposed 11-unit residential housing project located west of Smith Street on
the north side of Isabella Road in the City of Midland. FISHER
RESOLUTIONS:
5. Receiving and filing the proposed
Expanded Northeast Pressure District project and directing that funding for
Phase 1 be added to the 2002-03 Engineering Priorities. BUSH

the City Manager to sign and submit a grant request to the Michigan Economic
Development Corporation to engage the services of a professional marketing firm
to prepare a Downtown Economic Enhancement Study. LYNCH
* 11. Rescinding
and replacing the resolution adopted on Oct. 22, 2001 authorizing a budgetary
transfer of funds for payments to Plante and Moran, LLP in connection with The
Dow Chemical Company tax appeal. BRANSON
