            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

            5.         Canceling the public hearing for Zoning Petition No. 482 to rezone property at 1983 Penrod Road from Township Zoning to Residential A-1 and rescheduling the hearing for April 8.  (Also see material sent in February 25 agenda packet.)  LYNCH

 

            6.         Canceling the public hearing for Zoning Petition No. 483 to rezone property at 1610, 1616, 1720 N. Dublin Road from Township Zoning to Residential A-1 and rescheduling the hearing for April 8.  (Also see material sent in February 25 agenda packet.)  LYNCH

 

            7.         Canceling the public hearing for Zoning Petition No. 484 to rezone property on the east side of Jefferson at Oakbrook Court from Township Zoning to Residential A-1 and rescheduling the hearing for April 8.  (Also see material sent in February 25 agenda packet.)  LYNCH

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

            8.         Second reading and adoption of an ordinance establishing:  MARSHALL

                        a.         New ward boundary lines for the five wards within the City of Midland.

                        b.         Election precinct lines.

 

RESOLUTIONS:

            9.         Conducting interviews of applicants and making appointment to the Planning Commission.  DUSO

 

          10.         Referring amendments to Section 23-90 - Property Division of the Subdivision Control Ordinance to the Planning Commission.  OSTGARDEN

 

*        11.         Approving a deadline extension of two months for a site plan for a gas station/convenience store on the northwest side of Jerome Street between Ellsworth and Buttles Streets.  LYNCH

 

*        12.         Referring request to vacate the walkway between Virginia Street and Carolina Street.  LYNCH

 

*        13.         Making Traffic Control Order No. R-02-01 permanent – establishing regulations pertaining to the operation of trucks and trailers on Eastman Avenue from Buttles Street to Ellsworth Street.  MCMANUS

 

*        14.         Establishing “The Gerstacker Sprayground” as the name for the sprayground waterpark.  MCGUIRE

 

          15.         Receiving and filing the City Manager’s Report on the Annual Review of Class C, D and Resort Liquor Licenses.  DUSO

 

*        16.         Urging support of the increase in the diesel fuel tax only if the additional revenue is distributed equitably based on the formula in 1951 Public Act 51.  DUSO

 

          17.         Consideration of purchases and contracts:

*                      e.         Increasing amount to contract with Dow-Howell-Gilmore for Currie Clubhouse.  MCGUIRE

 

          18.         Setting public hearings:

*                      a.         Zoning Petition No. 487 to rezone property north of N. Saginaw Road and west of Stark Road from Township Zoning to Business C, Office Service 2 and Residential A-1 (4/22).  LYNCH

*                      b.         Zoning Petition No. 488 to rezone property east of N. Eastman Road, north and south of Commerce Drive, east and west of Commerce Court from Township Zoning to Business B-2 and Business C (4/22).  LYNCH
