All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”. If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

7. Expressing opposition to House Bill 6380, Amendments to the Highway Advertising Act of 1972, and directing the City Manager to send a letter to Rep. Stamas, urging him to oppose this proposed legislation. LYNCH

* 8. Approving a Building Authority Refunding Contract for Joint Building Authority General Obligation Bonds. FISHER

* 9. Considering a request for a revised route for the Santa Arrival Parade on December 3, 2002. DUSO

* 10. Giving non-profit status to Midland Community Cancer Services for the purpose of obtaining a charitable gaming license. DUSO

* 11. Setting a public hearing on a budget amendment to the Cable Communications Fund (12/9). DUSO

12. Expressing City Council’s intent to consider providing sewer service to alternative jail sites outside the City of Midland. LYNCH

13. Recommending that the City Council submit comments to the MDEQ supporting The Dow Chemical Company Dioxin Draft Consent Order. BUSH
