All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”. If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

4. Zoning Petition No. 500 to rezone property west of the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Wackerly Street from Office-Service 2 to Business B-1. (Also see material sent in April 28 agenda packet.) LYNCH

RESOLUTIONS:

5. Adopting the 2003-04 City of Midland Budget, establishing the millage rate, authorizing levy of additional mills of property taxes on property in the Downtown Development District, authorizing imposition of a tax administration fee, authorizing the imposition of a late penalty collection fee during the City’s 2003 fiscal year, and restricting the use of property tax revenues resulting from the tax appeal contingency levy. 6. Approving Site Plan No. 226 for construction of 18 site condominiums off of Joseph Drive east of Jefferson Avenue. LYNCH

* 7. Approving the annexation of 78.7 acres of property located on Jefferson Road north of Joe Mann Blvd. LYNCH

* 9. Setting a public hearing on the request from the Dow Corning Corporation for an Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate within the Dow Corning Corporation Industrial Development District relating to building improvements, machinery and equipment. The facility is intended to provide for an increase in the manufacturing capacity of a silicone product used primarily in the personal care industry (6/9). PAUL
