CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

*          1.         Approve minutes of July 14 regular City Council meeting.  KOVACEVICH

 

PROCLAMATIONS, AWARDS, RECOGNITIONS, PRESENTATIONS:

            2.         Presentation of the Level 2 Promoting Active Communities Award by Lisa Triber from the MSU Extension Office to the City of Midland.  LYNCH

            3.         Request from Ted Stockich and Michael Laursen on behalf of the Midland County Sportsman’s Club to address the City Council regarding the Midland Gun and Knife Show.

            4.         Reducing insurance coverage for ice cream vendors.  DUSO

 

            5.         Approving Site Plan No. 228 – Boulder Creek Condominiums, a fifteen-unit single-family condominium project on the west side of Perrine Road south of the Letts Road intersection on 6.5 acres.  LYNCH

 

*          6.         Accepting an Easement Agreement from SBI Limited Partnership for a sanitary sewer pump station on the south side of Countryside Drive.  MCMANUS

 

*          7.         Approving a six-month extension of health care benefits and differential pay for federalized employee.  MORGAN

 

*          8.         Authorizing reimbursement of water main advance deposit for Somerset Pines Site Condominium.  BUSH

 

            9.         Consideration of purchases and contracts:

*                      a.         Storage Basin Project Change Orders #4 & #5.  BUSH

*                      b.         Landfill Cell 15 Construction Change Order #1.  BUSH

*        10.         Setting a public hearing on the request from Dow Agrosciences, LLC for an industrial facilities exemption certificate within the Michigan Division Dow Chemical Company Plant Rehabilitation District No. 1 relating to building improvements, machinery and equipment (8/25).  PAUL
