CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

*          1.         Approve minutes of September 29 regular City Council meeting.  KOVACEVICH

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

            2.         Amendment of the Dow Corning Corporation Brownfield Redevelopment Site Plan No. 1 (Also see material sent in September 8 agenda packet.)  DUSO

 

PUBLIC COMMENTS, IF ANY, BEFORE CITY COUNCIL.  (Please sign up before meeting with City Clerk)

 

RESOLUTIONS:

            3.         Approving the final plat of Broadhead Estates No. 1, a residential subdivision of 89 lots on 34.59 acres located on the east side of Jefferson Avenue north of Oakbrook Court.  LYNCH

 

*          4.         Authorizing the Mayor to sign a MSHDA certification form for the Affordable Housing Alliance of Midland County that recognizes AHA as non-profit and confirms approval of the site plan for Chippewassee Court Phase II.  DUSO

 

*          5.         Considering request from the MDBA to close McDonald Street from Larkin to Main during the Pumpkin Festival on October 23.  DUSO

 

            6.         Considering purchases and contracts:

*                      a.         Sewer Liner Repair.  BUSH

*                      b.         Standby Generators – Wastewater.  BUSH

 

            7.         Adjourning to a closed session to discuss pending litigation, specifically The Dow Chemical Company vs. City of Midland.  BLACK
