CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

*          1.         Approve minutes of March 20 special and regular City Council meetings.  TISDALE

            2.         Approving installation of a flashing beacon above the existing advance pedestrian crossing signs located near Jefferson Avenue and Chapel Lane (Item appeared on the March 20, 2006 agenda; action was tabled until April 10, 2006).  MCMANUS

            3.         Designating a redeveloper for the purpose of entering into negotiations leading to execution of a Development Agreement for redevelopment of the Midland Civic Arena.           LYNCH

*                      c.         Zoning Petition No. 528 to rezone property at 4124 Waldo Avenue from Residential A-4 to Residential B (5/8).  LYNCH

            7.         Extending City Council’s appreciation and recognition of Karl S. Tomion’s significant contribution on the Governor’s Task Force on Local Government Services and Fiscal Stability.  JOHNSON
