            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

*          1.         Approve minutes of June 6 special and June 26 regular City Council meetings.  TISDALE

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

            2.         2006 Sidewalk Improvement Special Assessment District:

                        a.         Hold public hearing on the Special Assessment Roll (Also see material sent in June 12 agenda packet).  DUFORD

                        b.         Resolution approving the 2006 Sidewalk Improvement Program; Contract No. 17.  MCMANUS

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

            3.         Introduction and first reading of an ordinance to amend Sec. 21-70 of Div. 1 of Article II of Chapter 21, Civic Arena Fees.  MCGUIRE

 

RESOLUTIONS:

            4.         Receiving and filing two plans for possible future development of Central Park.  MCGUIRE

 

            5.         Accepting the City of Midland Permanent Street Closure Policy for Local Residential Streets.  MCMANUS

            6.         Receiving and filing a report on planning and redevelopment activities near the Ashman Circle.  LYNCH

 

*          7.         Requesting that the City Attorney amend the Code of Ordinances to require City Council approval for all helicopter landings in accordance with Sec. 4-22 in the City of Midland.  MCMANUS

 

            8.         Receiving and filing the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Implementation Update Report.  MCMANUS

 

*          9.         Approving annexation request from Fisher Property Account for property located east of Stark Road and north of U.S. 10.  LYNCH

 

          10.          City Forest Estates Subdivision No. 1:  LYNCH

                        a.         Approving a two-year extension of time for completion of sidewalk in City Forest Estates Subdivision No. 1.

                        b.         Amending the development agreement to remove the construction of sidewalks on the 178 foot western boundary of Lot 1 and removing the requirement for a sidewalk on the unplatted land on the south side of City Forest Estates Drive.

 

*        11.          Approving a two-year extension of time for completion of sidewalk in City Forest Estates Subdivision No. 2.  LYNCH

 

*        12.          Accepting Herb Scogg’s resignation from the Board of Review.  DUFORD
