CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

*          1.         Approve minutes of November 6 regular City Council meeting.  TISDALE

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

            2.         Zoning Petition No. 531 – to rezone property at 300 Joseph Drive from Residential A-4 zoning to Office Service zoning (Also see material sent in October 23 agenda packet).  POPRAVE

 

PUBLIC COMMENTS, IF ANY, BEFORE CITY COUNCIL.  (Please sign up with City Clerk before meeting).  This is an opportunity for people to address the City Council on issues that are relevant to Council business but are not on the agenda.

 

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

            3.         Introduction and first reading to an ordinance amending Sec. 21-121 of Division 4 of Article VII of Chapter 21 of the Code of Ordinances to establish new and increase existing Midland Community Television use fees.  BEACOM

 

 

 

 

RESOLUTIONS:

            4.         Setting a public hearing:

                        a.         Proposed Dow Corning Renaissance Zone (12/4).  DUSO

                        b.         Proposed Dow Corning Public Act 328 Agreement (12/4).  DUSO

 

*          5.         Receiving and filing the 2007-08 Budget Preparation Schedule.  KEENAN

 

*          6.         Receiving and filing the report to the City Council on Consumers Energy Tree Trimming Practices.  LYNCH

 

            7.         Directing the City Manager to solicit bids for demolition of the former Midland Civic Arena in Central Park.  MCGUIRE

 

*          8.         Approving a budget transfer for a fuel truck purchase at Jack Barstow Municipal Airport.  MCMANUS

 

            9.         Considering purchases and contracts:

*                     a.         Approving an agreement with Rapanos Enterprises, Inc. for the construction of public water main and sanitary sewer extensions to the proposed Fast Ice Drive.  MCMANUS

*                      b.         Municipal Service Center Air Conditioning Project.  MCGUIRE
