CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

*          1.         Approve minutes of December 20, 2010 special and regular City Council meetings.  TISDALE

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

            2.         Zoning Petition No. 573 – to rezone property located at 800 Commerce Drive from Larkin Township Zoning to Community Commercial Zoning (4/5 vote required).   (Also see material sent in December 6, 2010 agenda packet).  BAKER

 

            3.         Amendment to the 2010-11 General Fund Budget to allow distribution of captured City taxes relating to the 2008 Brownfield Reimbursement Agreement with Hotel Holdings Cinema, L.L.C. (Also see material sent in December 20, 2010 agenda packet).  KEENAN

 

            4.         Amendment to the 2010-11 General Fund revenue budget to recognize donations totaling $250,000 from The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation and the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation for repairs at Plymouth Pool (Also see material sent in December 20, 2010 agenda packet).  YUERGENS

            5.         Introduction and first reading of an ordinance amending fees for recreation programs by amending Sec. 21-73 of Div. 4 of Article II of Chapter 21 – General Recreation Fees.  POST

*          8.         Approving request from Midland Young Life to conduct a 5k race on May 14.  DUSO

 

*          9.         Approving request from Kathy Leonard to conduct a walkathon on May 21.  DUSO

 

          10.         Considering purchases and contracts:

*                      a.         Diesel Fuel Purchase of December 17, 2010 (4/5 vote required).  YUERGENS

*                      b.         Ethanol Blend Unleaded Fuel Purchase of December 29, 2010 (4/5 vote required).  YUERGENS

*                      c.         Construction of the Gas-To-Energy Plant and the Landfill Gas Compressor Building, Change Order No. 4.  BUSH

*                      a.         The Dow Chemical Company Brownfield Redevelopment Plan #7 (1/24/11).  DUSO

*                      b.         Request from The Dow Chemical Company for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate within The Dow Chemical Plant Rehabilitation District No. 1 relating to new real and personal property to improve the existing facility located at buildings 1351 and 1353 (1/24/11).  DUFORD

*                      c.         Request from The Dow Chemical Company for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate within The Dow Chemical Company Plant Rehabilitation District No. 1 relating to new real and personal property to improve the existing facility located at buildings 564, 591 and 954 (1/24/11).  DUFORD
