CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”. If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

1. * Approve minutes of the December 5 regular City Council meeting. TISDALE

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

2. Request from Quad/Graphics, Inc. for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate within the Third Expanded Pendell Printing Industrial Development District No. 1 (Also see material sent in the December 5 agenda packet). DUFORD

3. Amendment to the 2011-12 Equipment Revolving Fund by $23,000 for the replacement of unit #1-45, a wrecked police patrol car, and also amends the budget to reflect $17,950 in revenue from the insurance claim (Also see material sent in the December 5 packet). MURPHY

5. * Receiving and filing the City and County of Midland Joint Building Authority Audit for the year ended June 30, 2011. KEENAN

6. Rejecting the 2011 Determinations of the Local Officers' Compensation Commission (4/5 vote required). TISDALE

7. * Approving request to conduct an obstacle race event on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2 in the City Forest area utilizing amplified sound and charging a fee. MCMANUS

8. * Accepting a revised Easement Agreement from the City of Midland to Superior Metal Recycling for their water main on city-owned property. MCMANUS
