All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”. If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

2. Introduction and first reading of an ordinance to amend the Downtown Development Authority Tax Increment Financing Plan No. 1, Amendment 3. TISDALE

3. Introduction and first reading of an ordinance to amend Section 30-5 of Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances to amend the Downtown Development Authority District Boundaries. TISDALE

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

4. Introduction and first reading of an ordinance to establish new Ward and Precinct Boundary Lines: TISDALE

a. Establish the Ward Boundaries of the five wards in the City of Midland to conform to the 2010 Decennial Census of the United States and Public Act 182 of the Public Acts of 1966.

b. Establish new Election Precincts with related matters for the City of Midland.

RESOLUTIONS:

5. Receiving and filing a draft policy regarding consideration and issuance of Industrial Facilities Tax Abatements. LYNCH

6. * Considering reappointment of incumbents to boards and commissions and establishing a timeline for filling remaining vacancies. RICHART

7. * Naming the City Manager as Transportation Coordinator and stating the City's intentions to provide public transportation services and apply for Federal and State Financial Assistance. MURPHY

8. * Authorizing an Easement for an Electric Service Line on City of Midland-owned property for new Charter Communications structure at the City's Jefferson Water Tower. BUSH

9. * Approving request from the Midland County Historical Society to conduct re-enactment activity during a week-long summer camp utilizing City parkland. MCMANUS

10. * Recognizing the Michigan Baseball Foundation as a non-profit organization in the Community. LYNCH
