            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

5.                  Second reading and adoption of an ordinance amending Section 16-34 of the Midland Code of Ordinances - Fireworks.  BRANSON

6.                  Second reading and adoption of an ordinance amending Section 28-52 of Division 3 of Article II of Chapter 28 - Water Rates.  BUSH

7.                  Second reading and adoption of an ordinance amending Section 28-163 of Division 3 of Article III of Chapter 28 - Sewer Rates.  BUSH

 

RESOLUTIONS:

8.                  Approving Site Plan No. 310 - for a 7,500 square foot Olive Garden restaurant, a drive-thru addition, a future development site and redesign of the on-site parking area, located at 6803 Eastman Avenue.  KAYE

9.                  Approving the new proposed Northwood University entrance roadway and related signs.  MCMANUS

10.              Approving the Labor Agreement between the City of Midland and the Midland Police Command Group.  WHITTINGTON

11.              *  Approving the request of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association of Michigan to hold a Block Party and conduct a Light Parade.  MCMANUS

Setting a public hearing:

15.              *  Amendment to the 2012-2013 budget of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library to recognize $50,000 from The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation and $50,000 from the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation to fund the resurfacing of the public parking lot at the library (7/9).  BARNARD
