            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

3.                  Introduction and first reading of an ordinance to amend Section 16-34 of the Midland Code of Ordinances - Fireworks.  BRANSON

4.                  Introduction and first reading of an ordinance to amend Section 28-182 of Division 4 of Article III of Chapter 28 of the Code of Ordinances - Sewer Capital Charges.  BUSH

 

RESOLUTIONS:

5.                  Endorsing and adopting the updated Non-Motorized Transportation Plan as presented.  KAYE

6.                  Approving Site Plan No. 317 - for site plan review and approval of Foxfire Condominiums, a 20 unit condominium development, located at 5910 Powder Horn Trail.  KAYE

7.                  *  Approving the annexation request from Duane and Holly Hellebuyck for property located at 6309 West Wackerly Street.  KAYE

8.                  *  Making Traffic Control Orders Permanent.  MCMANUS

a.                   *  R-13-01 - that the speed limit on Airport Road shall be 45 mph east of Sturgeon Avenue.

b.                  *  R-13-02 - that the speed limit on Airport Road shall be 35 mph west of Eastman Avenue.

c.                   *  S-13-01 - that Cortland Street and Cortland Court shall stop for Vine Street.

d.                  *  S-13-02 - that Dale Street and Dale Court shall yield to Vine Street.

e.                   *  S-13-03 - that University Drive shall yield to Whiting Drive.

f.                   *  S-13-04 - that University Drive shall stop for W. Main Street.

9.                  *  Approving the request from Auto Perfection to host the 1st Annual Car/Truck & Motorcycle Show Block Party on Saturday, September 14.  MCMANUS

10.              *  Confirming the City Manager's Appointment of Gary Shaffner to the Center City Authority Board.  TISDALE

Setting a public hearing:

22.              *  Zoning Petition No. 587 - to amend the City of Midland Zoning map by rezoning property located at 6923 Perrine Road from Residential A (Larkin Township zoning) to RA-1 Residential Single-Family zoning (9/30).  KAYE

23.              *  Amendment to the 2013-14 Community Development Block Grant Budget (10/14).  KAYE
