CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

            All resolutions marked with an asterisk are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate consideration of these items unless a Council member or citizen so requests during the discussion stage of the “Motion to adopt the Consent Agenda as indicated”.  If there is even a single request the item will be removed from the consent agenda without further motion and considered in its listed sequence in regular fashion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

1.               *  Approve minutes of the December 9 regular City Council meeting.  TISDALE

 

PROCLAMATIONS, AWARDS, RECOGNITIONS, PRESENTATIONS:

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

2.               Consider the approval of a Brownfield Redevelopment Plan for Downtown Midland DTH, LLC (also see material sent in the November 25 agenda packet).  KEENAN

3.               Zoning Petition No. 588 - to amend the City of Midland zoning map by rezoning the property located at 323 Sauve Street from Regional Commercial zoning to Industrial A zoning (also see material sent in the November 25 agenda packet).  KAYE

4.               Request from Savant Incorporated for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate within the Expanded Gerace Industrial Development District No. 1 (also see material sent in the October 28 agenda packet).  DUFORD

ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS:

 

RESOLUTIONS:

5.               Making Traffic Control Order P-13-02 permanent - that parking shall be prohibited from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday on the west side of Friar Lane.  MCMANUS

6.               Approving resolutions for Infrastructure Improvements:  KEENAN

a.                Accepting gifts from The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation, and the Charles J. Strosacker Foundation totaling $3,666,000.

b.               *  Setting a public hearing to amend the 2013-14 General Fund, Major Street Fund, Municipal Service Center Fund, Washington Woods Fund, and Riverside Place Fund budgets to recognize additional revenue to fund numerous infrastructure improvements (1/13/14).

7.               *  Accepting the resignation of Jerry Deming from the Center City Authority.  TISDALE

Considering purchases and contracts:

8.               Billy Casper Golf agreement for complete management services of Currie Golf Course.  KEENAN

9.               *  Filter Clear Well Repair - Phase 2 - Water Treatment Plant.  BUSH

Setting a public hearing:

10.            *  Conditional Use Permit No. 49 - to consider a request of Eastlawn Center LC, for review and approval of a conditional land use for a drive-thru window lane at the Eastlawn Center Food Court located at 961 South Saginaw Road (1/13/14).  KAYE
