May 10, 2004

A special meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, May 10, 2004, at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. Mayor Black presided.

Councilmen present: Drummond Black, Bruce Johnson, Hollis McKeag, James Myers, Joseph Rokosz

Councilmen absent: None

LIBRARY BOARD

Interviewed the following applicants for the Library Board: Fred Johnson and Richard Siemer.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman Myers and seconded by Councilman McKeag:

RESOLVED, that Fred Johnson is hereby appointed as a Citizen-at-Large member and Maxine Brink is hereby appointed as the Township Representative to the Library Board to fill terms expiring June 30, 2007. (Motion adopted.)

CABLE ACCESS ADVISORY COMMISSION

Interviewed the following applicant for the Cable Access Advisory Commission: Fred Johnson.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman Myers and seconded by Councilman McKeag:

RESOLVED, that Fred Johnson is hereby appointed as a Citizen-at-Large member to the Cable Access Advisory Commission for a term to expire June 30, 2006. (Motion adopted.)

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Interviewed the following applicants for the Zoning Board of Appeals: Donald Deibert, Joe Dunn, Roy Green, and Richard Siemer.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman Myers and seconded by Councilman McKeag:

RESOLVED, that Joe Dunn is hereby appointed as Citizen-at-Large member to the Zoning Board of Appeals for an unexpired term to expire June 30, 2006 and Richard Siemer as an alternate member for a term to expire June 30, 2005. (Motion adopted.)

LOCAL OFFICERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION

Interviewed the following applicant for the Local Officers Compensation Commission: William (Doug) Thompson.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman Rokosz and seconded by Councilman Myers:

RESOLVED, that William (Doug) Thompson is hereby appointed as a Citizen-at-Large member to the Local Officers Compensation Commission for a term expiring June 30, 2011. (Motion adopted.)

WEST MAIN STREET HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION

Interviewed the following applicant for the West Main Street Historic District Commission: Timothy Lichtenwald.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman McKeag and seconded by Councilman Myers:

RESOLVED, that Timothy Lichtenwald is hereby appointed as Citizen-at-Large member to the West Main Street Historic District Commission for a term to expire June 30, 2006. (Motion adopted.)
