A joint special meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission was held on Thursday, May 20, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.  Mayor Black presided.

 

Councilmen present:

 

Drummond Black, Bruce Johnson, Hollis McKeag, James Myers,

Joseph Rokosz

Councilmen absent:

None

 

Planning Commission Members present:

 

Jim Geisler, Dan Kozakewicz, Pat Max, Ray Senesac, Carol Svenson, Rod Weiland

Planning Commission Members absent:

Russell Baker, Troy Dowling, Roger Mead

 

PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE

Assistant City Manager Jon Lynch reviewed the goals and reasons for updating the City of Midland Zoning Ordinance and presented an overview of proposed changes for each of the 32 articles contained in the proposed Zoning Ordinance.  A Council discussion with the Planning Commission followed Mr. Lynch’s presentation.
