January 31, 2005

A special meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, January 31, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room B in City Hall. Mayor Black presided.

Councilmen present: Drummond Black, Bruce Johnson, Hollis McKeag, James Myers, Joseph Rokosz

Councilmen absent: None

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

Interviewed the following applicants for the Parks and Recreation Commission: Steven Babinec, Adam Demers, Laura Kasprzyk, Frank King, III, and Jonathan Plotzke.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman McKeag and seconded by Councilman Johnson:

RESOLVED, that Laura Kasprzyk is hereby appointed as a citizen-at-large member of the Parks and Recreation Commission to fill a term expiring June 30, 2006. (Motion ADOPTED. Yeas: Black, Johnson, McKeag Nays: Myers, Rokosz)

AVIATION ADVISORY COMMISSION

Interviewed the following applicants for the Aviation Advisory Commission: Matt Janson, Tim Martin, Kyle Nothstine, and John Swantek.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman McKeag and seconded by Councilman Myers:

RESOLVED, that Matt Janson is hereby appointed as a pilot representative member of the Aviation Advisory Commission to fill a term expiring June 30, 2006. (Motion ADOPTED. Yeas: Black, Johnson, McKeag, Myers Nays: Rokosz)

PLANNING COMMISSION

Interviewed the following applicants for the Planning Commission: Mark Plotzke and Shawn Pnacek.

The following resolution was then offered by Councilman Myers and seconded by Councilman Johnson:

RESOLVED, that Mark Plotzke is hereby appointed as a citizen-at-large member of the Planning Commission to fill a term expiring June 30, 2007. (Motion ADOPTED.)

Being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
