A special meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. Mayor Johnson presided.

Fiscal Services Director David Keenan and City Controller Margaret
Maday presented a review of the General Fund.
Grace A. Dow Memorial Library Director Melissa Barnard presented an
overview of budget proposals affecting the Library budget.
Department of Public Services Director Martin McGuire reviewed several
capital improvement projects involving the Parks and Recreation budget.
Fire Chief Leonardo Garcia presented budget information regarding a
proposed Fire Service Analysis.
Police Chief Jim St. Louis presented a report on budget information
regarding police department video monitoring equipment.
Fiscal Services Director David Keenan presented a Metro Fund update.
City Engineer Brian McManus presented a summary of the Major and Local
Streets funds and a review of the “wayfinding” signs maintenance program.
Utilities Director Noel Bush presented a budget review of the Storm
Water Management Fund.
“THREE FREE” FEE
WAIVER EXTENDED
Department of Public Services Director Martin McGuire presented a
resolution extending the Three Free period.
The following resolution was then offered by Councilman Rokosz and
seconded by Councilman McKeag:
RESOLVED, that the “Three Free” fee waiver period for yard waste collection is hereby extended through April 27, 2007. (Motion ADOPTED.)
Being no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
