A special meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, April 21, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall.  Mayor Johnson presided.

 

Councilmen present:

Thomas Adams, Maureen Donker, Bruce Johnson, Hollis McKeag, Joseph Rokosz (arrived at 7:40 p.m.)

Councilmen absent:

None

 

BUDGET WORK SESSION

Fiscal Services Director David Keenan presented the City Manager’s Proposed 2008-09 City Budget including the impact of the MCV tax appeal settlement and challenges for the 2009-10 budget year.  Assistant City Manager for Human Resources Paula Whittington spoke regarding the new budget format.
