A special meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, May 5, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. Mayor Pro Tem Adams presided.

Councilmen present:	Thomas Adams, Maureen Donker, Bruce Johnson, Hollis McKeag, Joseph Rokosz
Councilmen absent:	None

Mayor Johnson arrived and assumed the gavel at 7:40 p.m.

BUDGET WORK SESSION

Fiscal Services Director David Keenan presented an overview of the City Budget.

Planning and Community Development Director Keith Baker spoke regarding senior housing budget issues.

Director of Parks and Recreation Brett Ireland spoke regarding the recreation funds.

Director of Public Services Karen Murphy spoke regarding the transportation fund.

Utilities Director Noel Bush presented an overview of the utility funds.

City Engineer Brian McManus spoke regarding the County Road Millage renewal.

Being no further business the meeting adjourned 10:05 p.m.
