A special joint meeting of the City Council and the Parks and Recreation
Commission was held on Monday, December 19, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. in Conference
Room B in City Hall. Mayor Donker
presided.
Councilmen present: Thomas Adams, J. Dee
Brooks, Diane Brown, Maureen Donker, Marty Wazbinski
Councilmen absent: None
Commission members present: Frank Altimore,
Kristen Bovid, Patty Carlson, Paula Jurado, David
Kelley, John Metevia, David Rice, Marcia Steidemann
Commission members absent: Nancy
Carney
Director of Public Services Karen Murphy presented the City’s previously
adopted recreation fee philosophy along with potential changes discussed by the
Parks and Recreation Commission. Members
of the City Council and the Parks and Recreation Commission discussed
recreation user fees, business conducted by the Parks and Recreation Commission
during 2011, and project funding received from outside sources.
Being no further business the meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
