MIDLAND CITY COUNCIL
A regular meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, February 12, 2001. Mayor Black presided.
Council members present:

Heard presentation on MBS International Airport video promotional program.
Held first reading of an ordinance to provide Payment in Lieu of Taxes for The Village at Joseph’s Run.
Accepted the 2001-02 Construction Priorities List and ordered it placed on file in the City Clerk’s Office and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and ordered a map of the projects be placed on display at the Midland City Hall.
Approved an amendment to modify Administrative Consent Order (ACO-014) changing the deadline to submit approval plans and specifications to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
Approved the purchase agreement for the sale of a CHOICE house at 214 Bradley Court.
Accepted eleven new streets into the City of Midland Local Street System.
Received and filed the 2000 Annual Report for the Saginaw-Midland Municipal Water Supply Corporation.
Approved an amendment to the City of Midland Flexible Spending Account Plan.
Set a public hearing on March 5, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. on a request from CKS Enterprises to establish an Industrial Development District.
Set a public hearing on March 5, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. on an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant budget.
Accepted mediated settlement with LaMar OCI North Corporation for billboards at Bay City Road Interchange and authorized payment to the Michigan Department of Transportation in an amount not to exceed $150,000 as a result of the mediated settlement.
