Approved revised timeline and criteria for the award of a new Class C liquor license.
Received and referred petition for water main on Wackerly Street to the Engineering Department for consideration of inclusion in the 2002 Construction Program.
Received and filed the Joint Building Authority Financial Report.
Accepted gift of hangar at Barstow Municipal Airport from Dean F. Johnston.
Authorized execution of MDOT Contract No. 01-5405 for the resurfacing of M-20 from Main Street to Buttles, US-10BR from Norwood Drive to Saginaw Road, M-20 and US-10BR from Bookness Street to Washington Street.
Awarded bid to Allied Concrete Products, Inc. of Midland, Michigan and named Fisher Sand & Gravel, Inc. of Midland, Michigan as alternate vendor for annual purchase of concrete and related materials.
Awarded bid to Liquid Calcium Chloride Sales of Kawkawlin, Michigan for annual purchase of liquid calcium chloride.
Awarded bid to Briggs Contracting of Sanford, Michigan for annual purchase of crushed limestone, loaded on City trucks and recycled concrete; awarded bid to Bay Aggregate, Inc. of Bay City, Michigan for annual purchase of crushed limestone delivered to specified sites.
Set a special joint meeting with the Parks and Recreation Commission on January 28, 2002, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss philosophy for 2002 recreation fees.
