Proclaimed
February 3, 2005, as Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Day in Midland.
Held public
hearing and approved the vacation of Benson Street between St. Charles Street
and Whitman Drive.
Received and filed
staff report on applicants for City of Midland boards and commissions.
Approved Midland
County/City of Midland Hazard Mitigation Plan and authorized execution of said
plan.
Recommended
approval of request from Molly’s of Midland, LLC to transfer ownership of 1999
Class C licensed business with Dance Permit, located in escrow at 6163 N. M-30,
Hope, MI, transfer location to 134 Ashman, and a new Entertainment Permit.
Authorized
issuance of purchase order to Valley Carpet, Inc. of Bay City, Michigan for
Carpet Replacement at Washington Woods, in the amount of $20,933.
Authorized
issuance of purchase order to Allied Concrete, Inc. of Midland, Michigan for
the annual purchase of concrete.
Gave job performance review for City Manager Karl S. Tomion and increased his annual salary to $123,800.
Gave job performance review for City Attorney James O. Branson III and increased his annual salary to $108,500 plus $300 per month car allowance.
