Held first reading
of an ordinance to amend Section 16-35 Regulation of Hours of Business in
Business “A” Zoning District.
Held first reading
of an ordinance to amend Section 21-10 – Public Property Vacation Fee and
Section 21-29 – Zoning Fees.
Held first reading
of an ordinance to amend Section 25-2 – Prohibited Parking and Uses.
Directed Planning Commission to review a request to
repeal Section 21-10 – Removal of wheels; elevating, stabilizing coach, from the City of Midland
Code of Ordinances and submit recommendation to City Council.
Received and filed
staff report on Civic Arena project.
Authorized the
Midland Lady Explorers Softball Club to charge admission for a softball
exhibition on July 2, 2005 in Currie Stadium in Emerson Park.
Accepted a
Permanent Easement Agreement for sanitary sewer on the south side of James
Savage Road east of Waldo Avenue.
Accepted Easement
Agreement for sanitary sewer on the north side of Isabella Road east of Sandow
Road.
Accepted Easement
Grant Agreement for sidewalks at the southeast corner of Joseph Drive and
Jefferson Avenue.
Accepted Easement
Agreement for public water main on private property on the west side of Eastman
Avenue south of Saginaw Road.
Authorized
execution of Agreement granting utility easement to Consumers Energy in
connection with the Civic Arena project.
Approved request
to hold ALS Benefit Walk – June 4, 2005, in Emerson Park and on the Rail Trail.
Recommended
approval of the request from Decanters, LLC for a small wine maker license to
be located at 1804 W. Wackerly Road.
Recognized George
D. Goodman, Executive Director, Michigan Municipal League, on his retirement
from the MML.
