OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

MIDLAND CITY COUNCIL

A regular meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, January 26, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Johnson presided.

Councilmen present:	Thomas Adams, Maureen Donker, Bruce Johnson, Joseph Rokosz
Councilmen absent:	Hollis McKeag

Approved and filed the 2009-2010 Construction Project Priorities List.

Received and filed the 2009-2010 City Council Goals Report.

Approved request from the Artful Dodger Brewing Company to amend their request for a new Class C and Brew Pub License to a new Micro Brewer License.

Approved request from the Midland Center for the Arts for a new Dance-Entertainment Permit to be held in conjunction with a new Club License to be located at 1801 W. St. Andrews Road.

Approved request from the Midland Center for the Arts for a new Dance-Entertainment Permit to be held in conjunction with a new Club License to be located at 3417 W. Main Street (Midland County Historical Society).

Recognized the Carpenter Street School PTO as a non-profit organization for registering with the Charitable Gaming Division of the Michigan Lottery.

Made Traffic Control Order S-08-06 permanent – E. Park Drive shall yield to McGregor Street and that Sayre Street shall stop for E. Park Drive and rescinded TCO S-80-05.

Waived bids and approved purchase of 13,400 gallons of diesel fuel from Karbowski Oil for $20,858.44 that was executed by the Purchasing Agent on January 14, 2009.
