MIDLAND CITY COUNCIL

A regular meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, November 21, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Donker presided with all Councilmen present.

Recognized Jack Duso for his years of service to the City of Midland.

Held public hearing and denied Conditional Use Permit No. 41 – Eastman Senior Apartments. (Yeas: Adams Nays: Brooks, Brown, Donker, Wazbinski)

Received and filed the 2012-13 Budget Preparation Schedule.

Appointed Jon Lynch to the Midland County Central Dispatch Authority.

Received and filed the 2011 Annual Financial Statements and Auditors’ Report for the Saginaw-Midland Water Supply Corporation.

Received and filed the 2010-11 Annual Report for the Saginaw-Midland Municipal Water Supply Corporation.

Authorized execution of MDOT Contract No. 2011-0526 for the design of a Snow Removal Equipment Storage Building at the Jack Barstow Municipal Airport.

Authorized execution of Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $12,466.77 to the 2011 Joe Mann Boulevard Reconstruction; Contract No. 1 with Central Asphalt, Inc.
