MIDLAND CITY COUNCIL

A regular meeting of the City Council was held on Monday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Donker presided with all Councilmen present.

Proclaimed October as Chamber of Commerce Month in the City of Midland.

Proclaimed October 20, 2012, as Girl Scout Day in the City of Midland.

Proclaimed October 2012, as Roller Skating Month in the City of Midland.

Accepted staff presentation on Greater Midland’s award as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People in America.

Authorized execution of Traffic Signal Agreement with P and P Opportunities, LLC contingent upon the execution of a cross access easement agreement.

Received and filed the 2011-2012 Library Board Annual Report.

Set public hearing for Monday, October 15, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. on a request from The Dow Chemical Company for an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate.
