The Michigan Secretary of State website lets voters check the
following...
- their voting status,
- polling location, and
- a sample ballot for their ward and precinct prior to each
election.
Once on the site, type in your first and last name, and
information specific to your residence and voter status will
appear.

Some polling locations have changed in Midland due to the closure
in 2010 of several Midland Public Schools. Click on the link below for pictures and addresses of the new voting locations in the city.

Registering to Vote
To vote in any election, you must be registered to vote 30 days prior to the
election.
In the city of Midland, you may register to vote at the City Clerk’s Office,
located in Midland City Hall, 333 W. Ellsworth St. (989-837-3310), or at the Midland Secretary
of State’s Office, 1832 N. Saginaw Rd. (989-631-0266).
Your drivers license or other form of ID indicating your current
address is all you will need to bring with you to register.
To register to vote in Michigan, you must be a resident of the state and the city or township where you are applying
for registration; a citizen of the United States of America; at least 18 years of age by election day; and not serving a sentence in jail or prison.
Change of Address
A change of address on your drivers license will change your voter
registration record. Please contact the Midland City Clerk’s Office at
989-837-3310 if you have any questions about this process.
