Midland's
Department of Public Services (DPS) is responsible for providing such
services as household refuse collection, yard waste collection, recycling,
heavy item and brush collection, the Borrow-A-Container program, sidewalk
repair, and maintenance of over 210 miles of the city's major and local
streets, which includes street repair, street sweeping, and snow removal.

Borrow-A-Container
A 4 x 6 x 4-foot dumpster can be reserved for overnight loading.
Heavy
Item Collection City crews will pick up heavy items - like
refrigerators, moving boxes, and asphalt - at your curb once each month.
DPS will collect appliances and moving boxes on a call-in
basis (dial
989-837-6900).
Dispose
of Household Hazardous Materials What constitutes a household hazardous

Recycle
- Go Green!
Curbside recycling is available for many items. You can take other
recyclables to the Midland Volunteers for Recycling Center, located at the
City's Landfill.
