Leaf
collection from the streets is now complete throughout the City. No leaves
are allowed in the street. Street sweepers will come through to clean the
streets, weather permitting. Residents
with leaves remaining should place them in paper compost bags or a City yard
waste bin. These will be picked up on
your weekly refuse day through December 18, 2009. No stickers are required. ·
Due to possible freezing temperatures, contents in bins
may freeze not allowing for dumping.

Collection is
complete in all AREAS that rake into the street. No leaves are allowed to be placed in the
street once you have received your final collection. Crews will be collecting on those streets

2009 Fall leaf collection will begin on Monday, October 26th in
AREA B. Crews will start at
Fuller/Waldo Ave. working west towards Washington between E Ashman and E
Wheeler. Residents in this area should
prepare leaves for collection. Leave
at least one foot of gutter space between leaf pile and the curb. DO NOT mix brush or refuse in leaf
piles. Residents should avoid parking
cars on streets while leaf crew is working. You
may continue putting leaves into kraft paper bags
with NO collection sticker for the remainder of the leaf collection
season. Bags will be collected on your
weekly refuse day. |
