Curbside Recycling
When to Set Out Your Recyclables
Recycling is collected
every other week, Monday through Friday, on your regular refuse day. Place
recycling at the curb by 8 a.m. on your collection day and no sooner than 6 p.m. on the day before collection.
If you do not know your collection day, check out our
collection schedule online (see link at left), look for the listing on Sundays in your City
Calendar, or call DPS at 989-837-6900 for a magnet listing the
schedule.
Recycling is Collected in Green Bins
14-gallon green bins are provided at no charge by calling DPS at 989-837-6900. (There is a limit of
two bins per household.) If you have extra
recycling, you can put the items on top of your green bin in a container such as a
paper bag or laundry basket.
