2012 Fees & Registration Information

Team Fees

Please note that in addition to team fees, each player must pay an additional player fee (outlined below).

League Tournaments:

Please click here for the League Tournaments page. Any team can be included in League Tournaments at no additional charge. The tournament is open to all league teams; however, a League Tournament Registration Form must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Office in order for your team to be included. League Tournaments will be held at the end of the regular season during the week. Please contact the Parks & Recreation office for more information.

Registration:

Managers may register teams with league payment and submit a team roster with 12 signed and paid players (does not include non-playing managers and coaches) by the deadlines below. Registrations submitted by mail must be received in the Parks & Recreation Office by these deadlines:

· March 23, 2012:  Team registration deadline

· April 13, 2012: Team roster deadline – At least 12 players paid and signed or forfeit first game

· June 15, 2012:  Player registration (For players to sign up at the Parks and Recreation Office, team roster must already be on file)

Individual players may register at the Parks and Recreation Office, provided that their team roster with a minimum of twelve players has been submitted by the deadlines listed above.

The Parks and Recreation Office is open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. We will not stay open early or close late to accommodate players who wish to sign rosters. Please plan ahead and make time to sign your roster. Please make all checks payable to the Midland Softball Association or MSA. Please note that we do not accept credit cards for softball transactions.

Players Looking for a Team:

E-mail the Parks and Recreation office at: recreation@midland-mi.org or call us at 837-6930. Include the division you want to play in (MSP, MMP, WSP, Coed, etc) your name, address, telephone number, position of play preferred, years of experience and any other pertinent information. Managers can call the Parks office at 837-6930 looking for additional players.
