2011 Fall Coed Softball
Information
July 15, 2011 – The Midland Parks and Recreation Department will
partner with the Midland Softball Association to offer a coed softball program
this fall.
The season tentatively
begins the first week of September.
Teams will play an 11-game schedule with an average of two games per
week. Games will be played on a Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday combination. Games will be made up only if more than two
nights are rained out during the season.
Team registration begins Monday, July 25 and ends Friday, August 19. Registration will take place at the City of Midland
Parks and Recreation Office, 4811 N. Saginaw Road, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. At
the time of registration, teams should indicate their preference of night and
league play (Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday, and fun or competitive).The
registration fee is $350, which covers
a $35 per player fee for a minimum of ten players at the time of
registration. Additional players are $35
per player. Checks should be made
payable to the Midland Softball Association. Teams have until Friday, August 19 to turn in their official roster
listing their 10 paid players plus any additional players. Additional players can be signed and paid at
this time or in person at the Parks and Recreation office after the official
roster has been turned in.

2011 Fall Modified League
Schedules/Standings
Registration for 10-Man Modified
Softball is going on now through August 19 (but get your information in as
early as possible). League play will
tentatively begin on Wednesday, September 7 and will continue for 5 weeks on
Wednesday evenings. A maximum of 6 teams
will be able to register for the league.
Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 8 games. Cost for this league
is $40.00 per player and team must sign up a minimum of 10 players at
registration.

2011 Fall Coed Kickball League

uly 29, 2011 – For the first time ever, the Midland Parks and
Recreation Department will offer a fall coed adult kickball league. Registration will take place at the City of
Midland Parks and Recreation Office (4811 N. Saginaw Road), between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please make checks payable to the City of
Midland. Mail to: City of Midland Parks
and Recreation, 4811 N Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640. We can accept
credit cards for this league. The season will begin on Sunday, September 11. Teams will play a 12-game schedule, playing
double-headers each night. All games
will be played on Sunday evenings. Games
will be made up only if more than two nights are rained out during the season.
Team registration ends Friday, August 19.
The registration fee is $200,
which covers a $20 per player fee for a minimum of ten players at the
time of registration. Each player will
also receive a free t-shirt. Additional
players are $20 per player. Checks
should be made payable to the City of Midland.
