Canoeing
Enjoy a day of
canoeing on the Tittabawassee and Chippewa rivers!
Canoes can be
rented from the City of Midland Canoe livery located at the Golfside Boat
Launch (on Golfside Dr. just off the Currie Parkway Bridge). Life jackets and
paddles are provided.
Starting June 16,
2008, rentals are available Monday - Friday by reservation only and Saturdays,
Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., as weather permits.
Weekend canoe
season runs from late May through mid-August.
Monday through Friday
rentals require a 24-hour advanced reservation.
Canoe rentals are $5
for two hours and $6 for three hours.
