Canoeing
Enjoy a day of canoeing
on the Tittabawassee and Chippewa rivers!
Canoes can be
rented from the City of Midland Canoe livery located at the Golfside Boat
Launch (502 Golfside Dr. just off the Currie Parkway Bridge). Life jackets and
paddles are provided.
Rentals are available
seven days a week beginning Saturday, May 29, 2010 through late summer. Monday through Friday rentals require a
minimum 24-hour advanced reservation. For weekday rentals, you must either call the Parks and Recreation Office or
contact us by e-mail to schedule your reservation with our office staff. Staff
will be on-site Saturdays, Sundays and
holidays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., as weather permits.
Canoe rentals are $5
for two hours and $6 for three hours.
