Beach Volleyball
Stratford Woods Park includes
four groomed beach volleyball courts.
Men's, Women's and Coed Beach Volleyball leagues are coordinated through the
Midland Parks and Recreation Department. In all leagues, teams officiate for
their own matches. Parks &
Recreation provide a court monitor who is responsible for getting the matches
started, settling disputes, collecting results, and, in general, assisting in
the smooth operations of the games.
In 2- and 4-person leagues, the sponsor fee
is $30.00 per team. Player fee is $8.00
per player per team. In 6-person
leagues, the sponsor fee is $60.00 with a player fee of $8.00 per player.
The 2008 eight-game season began June 9, 2008
and ended August 7, 2008. League winners
received t-shirts.
