Indoor Ice Skating Areas
Indoor Ice Skating is available at the new
Midland Civic Arena, 405 Fast Ice Drive, 989-495-0610.

Cross Country skis are available to rent
at the garage at the west end of the parking lot.
Outdoor Skating Areas
These are available - weather permitting - at the following locations:
City Forest, located on Monroe Rd., a quarter mile west of Eastman Ave. This location is lighted for evening skate until 8 or 9 p.m., depending upon the evening. Skate rental is available at City Forest on a limited basis.
Emerson Park, located at the intersection of Main St. and Orchard Dr. This regulation-size hockey rink is lighted from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on evenings when the ice is skateable.
Plymouth Park, located at the corner of Swede Ave. and E. Wheeler Rd. This location is not lighted for evening skate.
Stratford Park, located on E. Ashman St. east of Waldo Rd. This location is not lighted for evening skate.
Downtown Midland, located at the Farmers Market near the Tridge in downtown Midland, a new
iceless skating rink was opened in 2006. Click to find out more.
