Due to the lack of consistent weather, the City of Midland has closed all outdoor winter recreation areas for the season effective immediately.

Cross Country Skiing

Ski Rental Hours*:  (trail is open one hour past rental cutoff)

Weekdays	4-7 pm
Saturdays	10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sundays & Holidays	Noon to 7 p.m.
Holiday Break	10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (according to Midland Public Schools calendar)
December 24 & 31	10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 *City Forest is open one hour beyond the ski rental hours listed above.

Hockey

Midland Civic Arena hosts Adult Drop-In Hockey on the following days and times:

AGES DAY TIME

Adults 19 and Up Tuesdays 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Adults 19 and Up Thursdays 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

July 3 12 noon – 1:30 pm

July 24 No drop-in

Ages 14 through 18 Tuesdays 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Ages 10 through 13 Wednesdays 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

July 30 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Ages 9 and Under Thursdays 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

July 24 3:10 pm – 4:40 pm

The cost for drop-in hockey is $5.00 per person per session. Goalies skate free.
