New in 2006, an iceless hockey rink is available at the Farmers Market near the Tridge during the winter months.

This unique rink is open during the winter months whether or not it's cold enough for making ice. That's because the rink is made of a synthetic material that doesn't melt. No matter what the winter weather, cold or relatively warm, residents can use their ice skates to enjoy outdoor skating in a park environment.

Be sure to bring your regular ice skates. Please note that only ice skates should be used:  roller blades, shoes and other footwear are not allowed, as they will damage the synthetic surface.

The rink is open from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. during the winter months.
