City of Midland Auctions

There are currently no auctions planned.

Auctions Throughout the Year

The Purchasing Department coordinates two or three public surplus auctions each year:

  • one features primarily retired City computers, monitors, software and peripheral devices (generally held in January);
  • a second features used bicycles that have been abandoned by their owners and subsequently recovered by the Midland Police Department (generally held each spring);
  • a third auction may be held during the year depending upon the availability of items that are likely to be featured in this auction, such as City vehicles or other equipment.

Revenue generated from the above auctions becomes part of the City of Midland operating budget.
