GIS Projects
The City of Midland is currently working on new and exciting GIS projects and developing new data and applications as part of the City's enterprise-wide GIS program. The term “enterprise-wide GIS” means a geographic information system that is integrated throughout our entire organization so that all staff can manage, share, and use geographic data and related information to address a variety of needs. The goal of our program is to implement centralized resources that reduce data redundancy and promote efficient and effective use of GIS among City staff. Below are highlights of some of the latest projects and the benefit to the City.
